“Between what happens to us and how we react, there is a space.”
Mental Gardening is a coaching approach that invites us to bring this space back to life: a moment of pause, awareness, and listening, between life events, information from the outside world, and our automatic reactions.
By calming the nervous system and slowing the inner pace, we gradually stop living in reaction, opposition, or self-protection, and begin to act again from a place that feels more grounded, more alive, and aligned with what we truly need.
What I do and why ?
I’m Thomas, and I support you through periods of transition,
of mental fatigue or loss of bearings — those moments when old ways of functioning are no longer enough, but the direction forward is not yet clear.
My approach is based on a simple idea:
we cannot cultivate a calm and aligned mind without understanding the nature of the ground in which we are sowing.
Through Mental Gardening, I help you better understand your deeper nature, your mental and emotional patterns, as well as your own natural rhythms — notably through the principles of Ayurveda.
This understanding makes it possible to stop feeding patterns or habits that don’t truly suit you, and to begin sowing seeds that are genuinely adapted to your unique inner ground.
Today, my role is to help you:
· Calm your nervous system
· Better understand your mental and emotional patterns
· Recognize your nature and your specific needs
· Rebuild a healthier and more conscious relationship with yourself
· Move forward with greater coherence, clarity, and gentleness
“Nothing can be forced. Everything is cultivated.”
Testimonials
This man is one to be recognized. Humble, kind, patient, passionate, attentive and so much heart. I recommend him to anyone wanting to follow their journey… he truly shifted it all for me.Namaste, Thomas! Cheers!
The retreat with Thomas was a wonderful and enriching experience. The combination of yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, workbook, and the various activities in the water was exciting, diverse and educational.
Thomas always explained everything to us in detail. His calmness and empathy gave us the confidence to discuss even difficult topics within the group and to step out of our comfort zone. Since I am not particularly good at swimming, I was initially apprehensive about the exercises in the water. But Thomas gave me a sense of security at all times, so I found the courage to try new things.
What remains unforgettable for me is the Bedouin dinner on the last evening in the desert – a beautiful conclusion full of gratitude, together with people who have grown very close to my heart over the past few days. It was important to me to change some of my habits and bring more calm into my life. This retreat showed me, how essential mindfulness and a positive mindset are for everyday life. Thank you, Thomas, for this wonderful experience!
I attended the Mental Gardening Retreat, where Thomas was one of the coaches, and it was a truly meaningful experience. The retreat was thoughtfully divided into different themes that guided us step by step through self-discovery, reflection, and personal growth. Each section felt aligned with exactly what I needed to explore within myself.
Thomas is an exceptional coach — present, attentive, and deeply empathetic. He truly listens, asks the right questions, and, most importantly, creates a safe and open space that allows real insights to emerge naturally. The retreat also included meditation, yoga, and grounding practices that complemented the inner work beautifully and helped integrate the experience on both a mental and physical level. I highly recommend Thomas to anyone seeking clarity, self-connection, and meaningful personal development.
I just wanted to say how incredibly much I enjoyed this week. It was truly an amazing experience. I learned so much about meditation, breathwork and mindfulness — in a way that really stayed with me. And freediving… that was absolutely fantastic and a real eye-opener. On top of that, Thomas is genuinely the best teacher I could have wished for: calm, knowledgeable and deeply inspiring. Thank you for creating such a safe and powerful space. I would honestly recommend this retreat to anyone.
I took part in the 7-week online retreat with Thomas. His natural way of being immediately puts you at ease. He is simple, genuine, and deeply attentive. Throughout the retreat, there is absolutely no obligation to take part in the meditations or yoga sessions if you don’t feel like it, or to share personal feedback if you prefer not to.
Thomas creates a sense of freedom and cohesion within a group of people who often share similar perspectives. He is available both collectively and individually outside of the sessions. The retreat unfolds around a central theme explored through different lenses (the nervous system, Ayurveda, yoga in its broader sense), which makes it both comprehensive and accessible to a wide range of reflections.
These two hours per week allowed me to give myself time, gain perspective on the life around me, and open my horizons a little more.
Thomas has created a structured method that uses the beautiful metaphor of gardening as its guiding thread — and it works wonderfully. He offers an introspective and compassionate approach, with concrete tools that are well suited to everyday life. Not to mention the small touch of joy and humor that truly defines him!
Throughout the entire coaching process, Thomas showed great attentiveness and genuine listening. He shared his knowledge with constant humility and gentleness. Free of judgment and open to others, he invites you to discover and journey through his world — which, for me personally, became a deep source of inspiration for what comes next.
I followed the SEEDS program online with a group of six, and Thomas truly knew how to create a safe space for our exchanges. The practices and concepts were shared with great gentleness and kindness. It encouraged me to integrate certain rituals into my daily life — a few seeds planted for a mental garden in full bloom!
The concept
Mental Gardening is not just another personal development method.
It is a different way of approaching mental health and balance.
Rather than trying to “fix” the mind, control it, or optimize it, Mental Gardening invites us to see it as a living environment — an ecosystem in constant interaction with what surrounds it.
Like a garden, our inner space is influenced by many factors:
our pace of life, stress, relationships, beliefs, habits, sleep, and the attention we give ourselves — or no longer give.
Over time, certain weeds can begin to grow.
Automatic reactions, fears, tensions, or ways of functioning that may once have been useful, but with which we gradually begin to identify — until we confuse them with who we are.
Mental Gardening first invites observation.
Slowing down enough to recognize what grows naturally, what suffocates the ground, and what, on the contrary, supports inner balance.
The aim is not to violently pull out what feels disturbing, but to understand why it took root.
To understand the ground, the inner climate, and the specific needs of this unique ecosystem that you are.
From this understanding, the work is based on simple practices that do not seek to repair the mind, but to reactivate its natural capacity for self-regulation.
By learning to calm the nervous system, breathe consciously, listen to the body, and observe the mind without identifying with it, balance begins to restore itself.
Change no longer comes from external effort, but from a return to an inner intelligence that is often forgotten.
These practices then become keys to better self-understanding, adjustment, and allowing a healthier, more stable, and more alive state to emerge.
Mental Gardening imposes nothing.
It creates the conditions for balance to become possible again — and for what is alive within you to breathe, grow, and express itself once more.

Programs in Detail
Mental Gardening Cycle · 7 Weeks
The inner retreat… from your own home
Group work offers a precious mirror.
By listening to others, we often recognize parts of ourselves.
We are reminded of a simple and often forgotten truth: we are deeply alike.
While our stories may differ in their details, the roots of our imbalances are very often shared.
And what helps us regulate, calm, and elevate ourselves often helps others as well.
ROOTS is a guided 7-week journey designed to restore inner balance, calm the nervous system, and relearn how to truly listen to oneself.
An at-home retreat, progressive and structured, that creates a safe space to slow down, understand, and recentre.
Each week, you take part in a live group call of around 2 hours, focused on a theme, a practice, a ritual, and a concrete step of transformation to integrate into your daily life.
INDIVIDUAL COACHING · FLEXIBLE 1:1
Planting the first seeds of personal change
Every transformation begins with a simple gesture.
A moment of awareness, a decision, an adjustment — sometimes subtle — yet capable, over time, of deeply transforming a life path.
SEEDS is a gentle and progressive one-to-one coaching experience, designed for those who wish to move forward at their own pace, without pressure or excessive goals.
The aim is not to change everything all at once, but to create a first meaningful movement, aligned with your real needs.
There is no need to have a perfectly clear vision or a grand project.
A single intention is enough: to feel calmer, more aligned, and more in tune with yourself.
INDIVIDUAL COACHING · PREMIUM 1:1
Deep realignment of the body, the mind, and your environment.
GROWTH is the most comprehensive Mental Gardening program.
A premium coaching experience, designed for those who feel the call for a structural and lasting transformation.
Here, the work goes beyond adjusting a few habits.
We return to the roots that support your current way of life: what truly nourishes you, what throws you out of balance, and what needs to be transformed.
My role is to support you in creating a coherent inner and outer environment — a solid, living ground in which you can grow with stability, energy, and clarity.
Because some moments in life call for full commitment.
A conscious, deep engagement, where nothing is left to chance, so you can fully reclaim authorship of your balance and your life trajectory.
